This four-month Embodied Wisdom Training in the Practices of Wisdom offers opportunities for participants to cultivate and deepen Wisdom Practices in their own lives, observing and contemplating their impact. Participants will be able to engage these Wisdom Practices with others in a group setting.
In each Friday gathering we will focus on Wisdom teachings and embodiment practices for each of our different Centers of Knowing: Emotional Center, Movement Center & Intellectual Center. We will also view Wisdom teaching video clips by Cynthia Bourgeault.

A FREE ZOOM ORIENTATION will be held for this Embodied Training in the Practices of Wisdom on Friday, 6th May 2022 from 1.30am-2:45am BST. Please drop an email to Mel if you would like to attend.
INSTRUCTOR: Marcella Kraybill-Greggo
Those best suited for this training will have already been introduced to Cynthia Bourgeault’s Wisdom teachings eg; through Book Practice Circle, and have an established contemplative prayer practice with Centering Prayer or similar. The training is open to: invited participants / those who attend the orientation
Marcella Kraybill-Greggo offers her time as a Seminary Director of Spirituality Programming, a Spiritual Director and a mom. Marcella served as Clinical Director of the Seminary Counseling program for 15 years, is a licensed Social Worker, is trained as an Ignatian Exercises Director, and is trained as an InterPlay (embodiment) Facilitator. She lives in the Lehigh Valley, PA with her husband, daughter, and their Westie, Kiwi. She has been an active participant in the Wisdom community since 2013, both as student and teacher, assists in facilitating multiple Wisdom schools, regularly offers 3 – 8 month ‘Embodied Training in the Practices of Wisdom’, facilitates Law of Three Embodied Trainings and midwife groups, and loves all things embodied. She joined the Wisdom Waypoints Council in 2017 and is our Council Chair.
Mel King is an Anglican priest in the York Diocese where she lives with her husband, a priest in retirement. They have four sons and four beautiful grandchildren. Mel is a Spiritual Director and offers Retreats and Quiet Days. She has been a student in Cynthia Bourgeault’ s Wisdom School since 2019, and is Post-holder in Yorkshire and the North East, supporting regular online gatherings for a growing Wisdom Community. She also offers workshops in Centering Prayer, Lectio Divina, the Welcome Prayer and related practices. She loves sharing in creative liturgy and working with embodied prayer and the expressive arts.
